Monson, 2G years of age, son of Edward Monson, 2f)3S Farr avo-nuc, avo-nuc, was killed in action in France, October 31, according to the official confirmation received in Ogden today. The report of the death of his son, was received by the father a few days ago. Young Monson wont to Camp Lewis Lew-is with an Ogden contingent, May 3 last. After a brief stay in tho camp, he was sent overseas with tho 364th Infantry which mnde up a part of the 91st division. Ho was in action tho latter part of July. He had been in notion a number of times prior to the battle in which he lost his life. Monson" was engaged in tho garage business prior to his entrance into the army. He is survived by his father and the following brothers and sisters: sis-ters: Mattie and Alice Monson, T. M and Edward Monson. Jr. |
