Mayor Smith this morning proposed three plans in settling the street car strike: 1 Services of mayor and city commission com-mission will be offered as mediators, i 2 City will protect operation of' care. If men wish to go to work and: take out cars, city will protect them. 3 Repeal of the Jitney ordinances, requiring license and bond from jit-ney jit-ney operators.
