Show I 'FLU' BIS IE REPORTED SINGE YESTERDAY According to Mr. George Shorten, Tuesday was a better day for Ogden although 5 more cases than the day preceding were reported. The total yesterday at 5 o'clock was 53, against 49 on Monday. With great relief, the inspector announces, no dealhs have been reported since last night's edition edi-tion of tho Standard. Dr. McGillicuddy is acting as house physician at the now Red Cross emergency emer-gency hospital in the Red Cross building build-ing and tho five rooms available are now ready for patients, sixteen of whom were transferred from the old emergency hospital In the First Congregational Con-gregational church. Mr. Shorten had assured Rev. Godfrey God-frey Matthews of the church that the city and the city board of health would tako pains to put on record their appreciation ap-preciation of the aid rendered to the community by the church in coming to the aid of the city, so well when no emergency hospital was in sight and sufferers ,were in a bad way tor help. |
