Show ITWO DIVORCE CASES STARTED I COURT Declaring that her husband threatened threat-ened her life with an axe and said he would make her blood flow from one ond o the lot to the other, Mrs. Agnes P Southwick yesterday started suit for divorce from Joseph Southwick. They were married In Ogden April 7, 1916. The threat against her life was made .in July, 1916, Mrs. Southwick alleges. The complaint also charges that the husband called their daughter, "monkey "monk-ey face" and "snake face" and other cruel names. She asks a divorce, restitution resti-tution of her maiden name, temporary and permanent alimony. Bertha Smiley started suit for divorce di-vorce yesterday from Hugh C. Smiley, charging cruelty as the cause. They were married December2i, 1913. The restitution of her maiden name, Bertha Ber-tha Byfield, is asked by tho plaintiff. oo |
