Show D, I WHEELER MP COLT, N. There arc forty-five men from Utah and Colorado in tho tank corps at Camp Colt, Gettysburg, Pa., according to D. N. Wheeler, former news reporter report-er on tho Standard, who left Ogden a couple of vfceks ago as an enlisted man in the service which "treats 'em rough." A card was received from Wheeler this morning by an Ogden friend which gives some interesting information. in-formation. It follows: "Forty-five lank corps men from Utah and Colorado arrived here Friday, Fri-day, August 99. First thing this morning mor-ning we went up for another exam. It seems all we havo clone since enlisting en-listing is submit to physical exams and tako inoculations. At the medical barracks the first thing to catch out attention was a sign which read, "We treat 'em rough, medical corps." After Af-ter going through we had no doubc they wero in earnest. Will try to send good story to Standard soon." |
