Show Troops iberia Americans to Join International Inter-national Forces Aiding Aid-ing Russians. WASHINGTON, Aug. 15. American troops today began to disembark at Vladivostok and immediately will join tho international forco to aid the Czccho-Slovaks army In its campaign in Siberia. The Americans compose tho 27th regular infantry regiment from Manila and will bo followed by another regiment from the Phillipines and additional troops from the United States. The 27lh regiment, has not been recruited re-cruited to war strength and the exact number of men is not definitely known here but is estimated at from 1,200 to 1.500. Colonel Henry D. Slyer commands com-mands tho 27th regiment. The entlro American forco will be under Major-General Major-General Graves who has been commanding com-manding a regular army division in Camp Kearny, Cal. |
