Show ifLEKSllB-Sfflll FOR UTAH-IDAHO RUT I Under construction by the TJtah-Idaho TJtah-Idaho Central railroad near its West Seventeenth street yards, is an electric elec-tric substation which, "when completed, complet-ed, will combine the machinery and purpose of the station on Washington avenue near the Ogden river and at the Utah Hot Springs. The new station "will be one of tho most up-to-date in( the country. It will cover ground spaqe of 50x75 feet and will be made of brick. Its cost and the cost of transferring trans-ferring the equipment from the Washington avenue and Hot Springs , sub-stations and installing 'It in tho Hj new sub -station will approximate $10,- I- 000. When tho new station is ready, the old station on Washington avenue will be torn down, and the space there used for residences. This will remove one of the best known buildings in Ogden. Besides the equipment of the two other'' plants the new station will be equipped with a new motor generator seV'It will furnish a horse-power ofj 3000 and will supply current, for the, city and the Ogden canyon electric; lines. . ! |
