LOUIS, Nov. 25.-Ph.il de C.J Ball, president of the St. Louis American Amer-ican league baseball club, said today that ho had not endorsed the plan of Plarry Hempstead of the New York Nationals and Harry Frazeo of the Boston Americans to have former President W. H. Taft to servo as a "one man national commissioner." He said he had recolved a telegram signed by Frazee and Hempstead asking him to wire Mr. Taft his approval. "Any changes of policy will bo effected ef-fected at the league's meeting early In December," lie added. oo |
