Nov. 25, Revisions of tho special miscellaneous tax rates In the war revenue bill was completed today by the senate finance committee. commit-tee. Decision again was postponed on the proposal, which Republicans are vigorously opposing, of prescribing rates for 1920. In amending the special taxes, the committee determined lo make no in- e crease in the present tax on amusement amuse-ment admissions. The house increasing the admission admis-sion taxes to two cents on each 10 cents paid was reduced to tho one cent rate of existing law. The com- . mittce also reduced from 10 to 5 per cent the rate on receipts of lessors' and licensees of moving picture films. oo |
