Show COMMITTEE NAMED FOB TS BMl CELEBfflOI In order that the proposal to devote a day in the nation to recognition of the service of Great Britain fn the ar shall have generous observance. Governor Gov-ernor Bamberger yesterday named a committee to take charge of the celebration cele-bration in each county. The weekday recognition meetings are to be held on Saturday, December 7, and observance of the occasion in the churches is fixed j for Sunday, December S. Not only citizens of British birth 'are asked to join in according this deserved recognition to the army, navy and peoples of tho British empire, but all Americans are asked by the governor gover-nor to join in making the day one worthy of the cause which It is intended intend-ed to represont. In pursuance of this object, Gover- j nor Bamberger yesterday named the following committee in Yeber county: David O. McKay, Ogden, Chairman; J. U. Eldredge. Jr., Frank Francis, Charles J. Humphries, John McCready, tho Rev. P M. Cushnahan, George Cave, James Drysdale. the Rev. Godfrey God-frey Matthews, O. A. Kennedy, the Rev. J. E. Carver, R. E. Bristol, Joseph Eccles, Ogden. no ' |
