Show Well-known Leader of U. of U. Football Team to Become Be-come an Aviator? SALT LAKE, Nov. 28. Coach Nelson Nel-son H. Norgren of the University of Utah will likely lead the Crimsonltes on the battle field for the last time tomorrow, to-morrow, when they clash with the Logan Lo-gan Aggies on Cummings field. Norgren Nor-gren s services wore obtained only for the football season, and as no arrangements arrange-ments have been made for intcrcolle-giate.basketball, intcrcolle-giate.basketball, it is unlikely that efforts ef-forts will be made to retain the Chicago Chi-cago athlete. During his four years at the helm of varsity athletics, Norgren has each year built strong aggregations in every branch of sport It was Norg who Welded together the basketball quintet quin-tet which romped off with the championship cham-pionship of the world in the spring of 1916 at the tournament in Chicago. Tho Utah aggregation in football has romped romp-ed off with the state championship every year that Norgren has been here, as has also the varsity track team. With the exception of last year, tho basketball team turned the same trick, Norg hopes to hive his proteges uphold up-hold the string of unbroken victories against the Aggies tomorrow, and to this end has been drilling the boys with unusual zest during the past ten days. He will spring new plays and freak formations on the Aggies that they have never seen before, and if the men can stand the "gaff," Utah should stand a good chance of coming out on the long end of the score. Norgren intends to join the servico of Uncle Sam In the capacity of an aviator. |
