Show i Ms liief ' - j NEW YORK, Oct. 11 Peace stocks were again decidedly strong at the opening op-ening of today's market, rails, shippings ship-pings and oils scoring the greatest gains. Mexican Potroloum rose five points in tho first half hour, jumping almost two points between sales. Marine Ma-rine common and profcrred improved substantially with United Fruit, the I latter advancing three points. Pacifies, I Reading, Atchison and Southern railway rail-way featured the transportations at gains of from one to. two points. Irregular Ir-regular heaviness was' shown by United Uni-ted States Steel and independent sloejs, also Baldwin Locomotive and Industrial Alcohol in which recessions of one to two points prevailed. United States Steel's further rally to 108, an extreme advance of almost three points, was of distinct benefit to kindred industrials.
