Show WJ EVANSTON NEWS EVANSTON, Wyo.. April 20. J. E. Donelson of Salt Lake, was a guest at the Evanston hotel this week. Ed Fist of Chicago was doing business busi-ness in our burp Thursday. Miss Vina Erickson of Spring Valley Val-ley called on friends here. Elias Thompson of Mill creek, was an Evanston visitor for a few days the latter part of this week. Mr. McSheehan of Fort Bridger, transacted business in town this week Dr. A. P. Thompson returned last evening from California where he and his wife, have spent a few week, on business and pleasure. W. A. Jack; who is on his way from California to his home in Denver, is making a friendly visit with his old friend, Engineer W. H. Bailey. Dr. L. A. Cheese is batching while punishing his patients, since Mrs. I heess and children left to visit her parents in Chicago. Worthy Grand Matron Mary P. Knittle was a guest of the Esther chapter chap-ter No. 9 last Saturday. All reported a fine time Charles Hobbs, engineer on the U. P., Is off duty this week on account of severe illness. Miss Esther Starr was unable to attend at-tend school this week on account of illness. Ray Durnford. local undertaKer, j is having a hard time. He has had several sev-eral minor operations, and now his jaw has caused him trouble and compelled com-pelled him to have another operation, a piece of the bone being removed. Then, as he was getting a little better, he was taken ill with tonsilitis. He is still at the hospital in Salt Lake. Clarence Johnson, an engineer on the U. P., who has been living in Evanston Ev-anston for some time, expects to move to Rawlins, Wyo., next week. The Evanston Boy Scouts are petting pet-ting ready for the Liberty loan drive. Rev. Fee, pastor of the Presbyterian church, will start for Dpnver early-Monday early-Monday morning to make a few days' visit with his family. nn |
