Show I Deaths and Funerals SHURTLIFF Mi-. Elisabeth Top ban Shurtiiff. wife of the late Vincen Shurtiiff, died at 7 15 p. in yesterday af general debility, at the home of her daushter. Mrs. C A Smith. 756 Twenty-fifth street. She had been ill lor the past two weeks. .Mrs. Shurtiiff was born in Bedfordshire. England, June 10 1833; the daughter 4 John and Jane Thornton Tophan. She came to Ft ah m 1819 and a fea years later was married to Vincent Shurtiiff at salt Lake. Mr. Shurtiiff, who has been dead for a number of years, was a cousin cou-sin of President Lewis W. Shurtiiff of this city. Mrs. ShurtUfl had been an actlva member of the Latter Day Salute church and was very well known In Ogden. She Is survived by the followinc children: Mrs. Sarah J. Smith. Ogden; Mrs. Emily Galney. San Francisco, Cal.! William Shurtiiff. Irwin, Idaho. ;(nd Mr.. Hannah Johnston. Irwin. Idaho ne brother. Tom Tophan of Parowan. Utah, also survives; also seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Funeral announcements will be made later, but it is very probable prob-able that the body will be shipped to dahO Fall- for interment and services I probably held Sunday atternoon. Interment will be in ogden City cemetery, ORTON The funeral of Le Grande ' Orion, the little son of Mr. and Mrs Francis Orton of 17:! Fourth street. Who choked to death on a bean a few! days ago, will be held at 2 p. m. Sun-, day In the Eighth ward chapel, with! Bishop w. w. Rawson officiating.
