Show BOARD OF INSANITY HOLDS A MEETING PROVO, Dec. 13. State Auditor Jo-seph Jo-seph Ttirle of the state board of insanity, in-sanity, was here yesterday for the monthly meeting of the board. j The following accounts for November Novem-ber wereiaudited and approved; Maintenance, Main-tenance, $1258,20; salaries, $1260.75; renewals and 'repairs, $214.22; total, $8713.17. On a report by Superintendent Superintend-ent George E. Hyde and Secretary J. C. Anderson, appointed a committee to report on insurance,' $100,000 was placed with Provo and Salt Lake insurance in-surance agents. Superintendent Hyde reported that there were 330 men and 265 women patients in tho hospital, October 31; seven men and nine women wo-men were admitted during November; four men and two women were discharged, dis-charged, and one man and four wpmen died. There arc twenty-seven males I and twenty-one females in the feeble-1 minded department. This mak.s a to-1 tal of 648359 males and 280 lemalrs. J Mayor Leroy Dixon attended the meeting on invitation of Superintendent Superintend-ent Hyde. |
