Show RATES ON FRUITS TO BE RAISED WASHINGTON, March 30. General revision of freight rates on fruita and vegetables from southern states to northern and middle western markets in order to bring rates to a parity with those from other producing sections sec-tions were approved today by the interstate in-terstate commerce commission. Carload and les6 than carload rates on about 48 kinds of fruits, melons and vegetables from every section of the south to Kansas City, St Paul, SL Louis, Chicago. Cincinnati. Louisville, Pittsburgh, New York, Philadelphia, and numerous other towns and cities are involved.
