Show FALSE REPORTS ARE BRANDED AS SUGO BY LOCAL MEN Editor Standard: I have interviewed all the lady teachers and assistants ot thr- Ogden High school and all era phatically deny any knowledge of or connection whatever with the rumored statements of Messrs. Iless and Miller as published in the Examiner Thurs day morning. Whoever connected a high school teacher's name with this matter did so falsely and without authority (Signed) J. E. BEESON. Principal. Without Prejudice. The Ogden Standard I noticed an article on Mr. A. M Miller, proprietor of the Washington Market, in the Ex aminer of March 29. In justice to Mr. Miller, about the time Mr Miller moved into his new store, September 7, 1916. he asked me to write up insurance in-surance on his new store, 2472 Washington Wash-ington avenue, to the amount of $2, 000. I told him I had only an English com pany and possibly on account of the war between England and Germany he would not like to have his insurance written in an English company. He said the war did not concern him any as he was born in Germany, but now Is an American citizen, and for me to write the policy, which I did, in the London Underwriters of London.
