Michener, secretary of the League to Enforce Peare, is due to ar-1 rive in Ogden next Monday and will be entertained the same evening at a supper In the parlors of the Presbyterian Presby-terian church by the church "Committee "Commit-tee of 100." of which he was the first president. His trip to the city is to Complete arrangements for a hearing for Governor A. O. Eberhart of Minnesota, Minne-sota, on the tenets of the League to Enforce Peace. Governor Eberhart is due to reacVi Ogden Tuesday afternoon, and a mass meeting has been called to listen to his message. This meeting will be held in the Tabernacle, beginning at 8 p. m. The Minnesota executive i of Swedish birth and came to Ameri-ea Ameri-ea when 11 years of age. He is a lawyer law-yer by profession and has been in po-litical po-litical life since 1897, having been lieutenant-governor and twice governor of his state since that time. He is considered con-sidered one of the best speakers in the country. |
