Show AUTOMOBILE BACKS INTO A B ON 25TR STREET. , An automobile parked at the curb on Twenty-fifth street hill, a short distance east of the Reed hotel, at noon today, slipped .from Its moorings and, running down the hill, crashed Into a Twenty-fifth street trolley car and a single buggy standing at the foot of tho hill. Tho buggy was damaged dam-aged to tho extent of about $20, Including In-cluding the smashing of one of the wheels. The damaged buggy, with a horso attached to it is the propertj' of V. G. Gill, city circulator of the Salt Lake Tribune. The owner, with other witnesses of the accident prevonted tho horse from doing any damage, although the frightened animal endeavored en-deavored to climb onto tho automobile. automo-bile. According to the Investigation made by the police, the automobile belongs to O. P. Barber, a bill-poster of Pocatello, Po-catello, Idaho. It had been left at ; the curb, while' the bill-poster was at ' work at some distance east of it, and the brake worked loose. The accl- dent created considerable excite- ment. |
