Harris stated today, in reply to a friendly query, that when he quite the bench January 1 he will resume the practice of law "with a glad heart and a feeling feel-ing of thanksgiving," with offices in suite l6o in the Eccles building. He has been on the bench five years. "Tho judicial position is no sinecure," sine-cure," he said. "The responsibility, especially in cases which cannot be appealed under our state Constitution, is great, indeed, arid a judge must work as hard as the busiest and most painstaking lawyer. I broke down once and had to rest. In returning to practice, which I previously enjoyed for sixteen years, I feel relieved and disenthralled. I may stroll about some In the sunshine now and enjoy life." Judge J. A. Howell said he also yill resume practice, with offices in the Eccles building. He has been on the bench twelve years.
