Show SECTION Ml KILLED ey switch km IN YARDS John Murray, a member of an Ogden Og-den Union Railway & Depot company section crew, was almost instantly killed at 5 p. m. yesterday, when he fell beneath the wheels of a switch engine In the local railroad yards. The accident happened at Twenty-eighth street and Pacific avenue, where Murray Mur-ray was working In the gang under Foreman Perry Spidel. Several cars passed over the body of the unfortunate mnn, after he had been struck down by the engine, almost al-most severing the limbs from the trunk. His head was also badly cut up. The body was removed to the Kirkendall mortuary. Murray was 65 years of age and boarded at the home of Mr. Spidel, 200 West Twenty-eighth street. He did not have any relatives in Ogden and Mr. Spidel stated last night that he had never heard him speak of any. |
