Haines, commissioner of immigration) im-migration) labor and statistics, has compiled an official list of the members mem-bers of the next legislature, based on the official election returns from all of the counties in the state. This list gives the Democrats and their allies fifteen of the eighteen members of the state senate and all forty-six members of the lower house of the state leg-islatur. leg-islatur. The political designation given to Iho members is based on the tickets on which they were elected to the legislature. leg-islature. Under this designation Senator Sen-ator Frank Evans of Salt Lake is listed list-ed as a Democratic-Progressive, as he was elected on a fusion ticket two years ago and holds over as a member of the upper house. Mr. Evans, however, how-ever, supported the Republican ticket In the recent campaign and is reported report-ed to have now affiliated with the Republican Re-publican party. This increases the Republican Re-publican membership of the upper house to four. The membership of the senate on the basis of official returns will consist con-sist of thirteen out-and-out Democrats, one Progressive affiliated with the Democrats and four Republicans. The lower house is entirely made up of Democrats and members of other parties par-ties who were indorsed by the Democrats. Demo-crats. On the basis of party allegiance allegi-ance there will bo forty-two Demo crats, three Progressives and one Socialist So-cialist in the house.
