Show SISAL TESTIMONY IS CHALLENGED Washington, March 1. Accuracy of testimony presented by Yucatan planters plant-ers to show the cost of producing sisal was challenged today in the senate sisal investigation by counsel for tho International Harvester company. Tabulations by a committeeof planters plant-ers had fixed the minimum cost of production on the plantations at six cents. This, Walter L. Fisher, counsel coun-sel for the Harvester concern, endeavored endeav-ored to show would mako the minimum mini-mum coat at New York more than eight cents per pound. The organization organiza-tion of planters is now selling sisal in New York at seven and three-eighths three-eighths cents a pound. I' |
