Show TRAIN WRECKED BY SN0WSL1DE Passenger Coach on Rio Grande Carried in to the Black Canyon. Pueblo, Colo., March 1. A Denver fc Rio Grande train was wrecked by a snowsllde in Black canyon, near Saplnero, Colo., early tonight, according accord-ing to a report received here. Two persons are reported killed. A number of passengers were Injured, In-jured, according to the report. The survivors are said to be snowbound at the entrance of Black canyon, 25 miles east of Montrose. Earl Levy, a member of a Pueblo high school basketball team, and an express messenger are said to be missing mis-sing and believed to have been killed. Later advices stated that the miBS-Ing miBS-Ing express messenger was C. H. Mathows of Denver. One passenger ccach, a baggage and mall car are said to have slid Into the river. No details concerning the Injured have been received. A severe storm Is said to be raging in the district |
