Show VILLA 15 MILES FROM BORDER El Paso, Tex., March 7. Officers of the Thirteenth United States cavalry, patrolling the Now Mexican border, reported tonight that th6 Francisco Villa was at the Boques Grandes ranch, 15 miles west of Palomas, Chihuahua, Chi-huahua, opposite Columbus, N. M. Villa, the report stated, had with him between 200 and 300 men. United States military authorities maintained heavy patrols all along the border tonight. Charles Newman, El Paso representative represen-tative of the Palomas Land &. Cattle company, was today notified that Arthur Ar-thur McKinney, ranch foreman, and 14 Mexican employes of the company, had been taken prisoner by Villa and Ihs followers. The men, it was sajj, were captured at a point directly adjoining the Bos-ques Bos-ques ranch and 35 miles south of the border. The ranch employes were engaged en-gaged in rounding up and branding cattle. oo |
