Show TEN DOLLARS PLACED IN A SANK FOR v THE BABY As an aftermath of the 1916 observance observ-ance of "Baby Week" fostered by the Children's Aid Society, Dr. A. S. Con-don's Con-don's prize of $10 -for the first baby born after midnight of March 11, was awarded today to Frank, the Infant son of Mr. and Mrs. H" F. Chamher-Hn. Chamher-Hn. The babe was born at 5 a. m., March 12, In tho Chamberlln suite at the Broom hotel, Dr. Mark Brown being be-ing the attending physician. The awarding of the prize followed a lengthy leng-thy review of birth reports. Dr. Condon deposited the $10 prize in the First National bank today to the babe'B credit and when the young-Bter young-Bter becomeB of age, he will have tho necessary means to attend college. Mr. Chamberlln, Sr., is an engineer at the American Can Company's local plant. |
