Show IBGHQD FIGHT HEHEHBSED I THE ' CITKCOW Yesterday afternoon, in the municipal muni-cipal court, the circumstances of a neighborhood fight on east Second street, Saturday, April 1, were reviewed re-viewed before Judge Georgo S. Barker. Bark-er. Three defendants, thre attorneys and nine witnesses figured in the case and after the testimony was In and the arguments made, the judge decided decid-ed lo withhold judgment to a later date. The defendants were Mr. and Mrs Martin Smith, represented by Attorney Attor-ney II. L. Stine. and Mrs. Edward McDonald Mc-Donald lepresented by Attorney W. H nnedei, Jr. Attorney J. C. Little-fln,.d Little-fln,.d acted as prosecutor. In the cases against Mr. and Mrs. Martin Smith, Mrs. McDonald was the complainant com-plainant and in the case against Mrs. McDonald. Mrs. Martin Smith was l he complainant. Witnesses for Mrs. McDonaie were Dr. C K. MacMurdy, Mrs. Naomi McDonald. Lee, Amy and Edward McDonald; and Mr. and Mrs. Smith. M Titleblum and Bertha Title-blum Title-blum testified on behalf of the other defendants. All of the defendants were charged with batterq, the alleged offense having hav-ing been committed Saturday, April 1 According to the com'plaints, Mrs. McDonald entered the Smith premises, prem-ises, 777 Second street, struck Mrs. Smith with a stick and pulled some of her hair out; Mrs. Smith shoved Mrs. McDonald on to a barrel standing stand-ing In the yard and followed up the advantage, and Mr. Smith struck Lee McDonald with a broom-stick and a rock. Estates In the estate of Robert Todd, deceased, time for hearing the petition for approval of an account has been set ;n the district court for April 21.
