Show COHY CASE BEFORE JURY I DISTRICT COURT The second trial of the personal injury case of Louise Conway against the Salt Lake & Ogden Railway company com-pany was taken up ln Judge James A. Howell's division of the district court today. The suit is for $20,000 and judgment in the sum of $1850 was given In favor of the plaintiff in the first trial. The case was appealed to tho supreme court by the defendant defend-ant company. The district court decision de-cision was reversed and tho case remanded re-manded back for a new trial. Mrs. Conway alleges that she was painfully injured when she fell between be-tween two cars of the Bamberger road at Lagoon, July 17, 1913. Her contention is that the cars were overcrowded over-crowded and that they were poorly lighted. She was injured about the back and abdomen. Tho following Jury has been empaneled: em-paneled: George Lucas, Joseph H. Belnap, Joseph Bingham, Herbert D. Brown, Charles H. Clements, Leslie C. West, W. H. Meal, and Willard Bingham. |
