Show DOG TAX . COLLECTOR WILL BEGIN I ATTACK The city board of commissioners this morning appointed John H. Hughes of 641 Twenty-first street dog tax collector and it is expected that there will be a shaking up on the dog license question in a short time. Interest on Ogden refunding bonds, amounting to $1126.12, waB allowed and the auditor instructed to draw a warrant for the amount The commissioners havo planned to repaint and repaper the city jail building, build-ing, and to that end bldB for the work will be considered tomorrow. A number num-ber of offers have been made and it is the opinion of the commissioners that the improvement can be made for about' $85 or $100. Mayor A. R. Heywood advised the board last evening that some of the rooms of the police station needed cleaning and renovating and that he had taken it upon himself to ask for bids for the work. The board approved approv-ed the Mayor's action. |
