Show TROOP B TO LEAVE FOR THE BORDER Salt Lake, July 7. The first squadron, squad-ron, First cavalry, national guard of Utah, comprising fifteen officers and approximately 280 enlisted men, under the command of Major W. G. Williams, will break camp at Fort Douglas about noon today and leave tonight 'for the Mexican border. While the information informa-tion to this effect is unofficial It is believed to be authentic. Following the instructions of the secretary of war as to secrecy in regard to troop movements, officers of the guard and the regular army stationed here declined de-clined to discuss the matter last night. The destination of the Utah unit and r the route to be used from Salt Lako are veiled in secrecy. The indications are, however, that tho squadron will leave here over the Salt Lake Route and will be destined for Nogales. In preparation ,for the movement tho state board of examiners yesterday approved the payroll of tlie guard, amounting to $7,750.21 for fifteen days' service. Adjutant General B. A. Wedgwood began paying members of the first squadron yesterday afternoon and will finish the task this morning, thereby providing tho troopers with a little ready money when they go into camp on the border. Sergeant A. R. Meyers, U. S.
