The closing day's racing of the Mid-continent Regatta, under the auspices of the Mississippi Valley Motorboat association, was marked by the performance of Miss Minneapolis, the Minneapolis Motor-boat Motor-boat association entry, which won all events in which It was entered. In the deciding heat of the Webb trophy race Miss Minneapolis developed a speed of 45.10 miles an hour. At a meeting held during the day by the association members, Minneapolis was selected for the 1917 regatta. Tho result of today's racing follows: Class A, five-mile event: Ugly Duckling Duck-ling III, first; Panama second. Billie Burke, Little Chief and Red Wing failed to finish. Time, 12 minutes 34 seconds. Free-for-all ten-mile event: Miss Minneapolis first, The Barnacle II, second, P. D. Q. V. third. Monarch failed to finish. Time, 13 minutes 35 seconds. Average, forty-four miles an hour. Class AA, five miles: Billie Burke first. Time, 16 minutes 36 seconds. Mayme failed to finish. Class D, ten-mllo event, cut to seven and one-half miles: P. D. Q. V. first, Hazel II, second, Ugly Duckling III third. Time, 14 minutes 24 seconds. Monarch failed to finish. Class E, ten miles: Miss Minneapolis Minneapo-lis first, P. D. Q. V. second. Time, 13 minutes 56 seconds. Tho Barnacle II and Monarch failed to finish. Class C, five miles: P. D. Q. V. first, Hazel II second. Ugly Duckling III third. Time, 9 minutes 44 seconds. Admiral's trophy, ten miles, cut to two and one-half miles: P. D. Q. V. first, Hazel II second. Time, 4 minutes min-utes 44 seconds. Ugly Duckling III failed to finish.
