If raw apples are used, three or four Juicy sour apples of fine flavor should be pared and sliced, and, If desired, a few slices of lemon rind added to them Pour over them two cupfuls of boiling water, and let them -stand for three hours. Strain, sweeten, and add a small piece of ice. |
