BLACKFOOT WOMAN HURT. Blackfoot, Ida., Nov. 15. Mrs. W. C. Johnson, a long-time and prominent promi-nent resident of this city, was struck by a locomotive at American Falls last night and badly injured, though recovery is expected. She suffered broken ribs, both hands were mashed, her face was badly lacerated and she received general bruises. She was at once taken to the emergency hospital at Pocatello and given good care and will be removed to her home here as soon as possible. It appears that Mrs. Johnson was on the depot platform to return home and hearing a train approaching started for it. She believes be-lieves that she was wedged between a depot truck, and the locomotive and thrown down, receiving the injuries stated. oo |
