All hands appeared to bo on the selling sell-ing side of the provision market. Big receipts of hogs was said to have rendered a material breakdown of pri-cep pri-cep inevitable. Severe censorship of cables kept dealers here much at sea until after midday Then the market dropped S 1 2c. or more from easier figures owing to rumors that the forts at the Dardanelles were giving way to the I allies and that immense stores of Rus-! sian wheat would soon be available tor western Europe.
