Officer Blackburn came upon tho scene in time to prevent sorlous troublo and Cortez dropped the knife, which was ploked up by tho officer. The defendant. In telling his story, said he had been drinking and imagining imag-ining that he was to be assaulted by three men, had hiB knife "ready for business" and was prepared to "do his best" "When I saw the officer," he said, "I knew I was up against It and dropped tho knife." Ho was sentenced sen-tenced to serve thirty days in Jail.
