Show I BOX ELDER I COUNTY NEWS Brlgham City, Jan. 20. At the meeting of the county commissioners held here yesterday, County Attorney William J. Lowe recommended that three claims against the county be turned down. The first claim was that of Frank King of Garland for $100 damages for the loss of a horse In the Garland gravel pit. The other claims were for refund of overcharges of taxes, filed by Joseph Josephson and Joseph F, Hansen. These claims were for tho delinquent tax fees paid before the delinquent tax list was published. The county physician conferred with the board relative to the appointment ap-pointment of health officers in the various districts. Dr. Frederick Wach was appointed to that office in district dis-trict 2 and "Dr. J. R. A. Whltlock in district In district 1 there is a contest on the for the appointment. The following were appointed road supervisors In the following precincts: Sunset precinct. J. B. Pettlnglll; Mantua, C. M. Petersen; Deweyville, John A Fryer; Riverside. U H. Ken-nard; Ken-nard; Grouse Creek, Henry Rose. Deputy assessors In addition to those appointed at the last meeting were named as follows; Levi C. Ward. H. E. Larsen. A. E. Zundel.
