Show JACKSON AND BARKER I ARRAIGNED BEFORE I JUDGE HARRIS i In Judge N. J. Harris' division of the district court this morning, Harry Jackson was arraigned on the charge of forgery and .1. T. Barker answered the charge of breaking jail. Both ! the defendants pleaded not guilty and the court announced that the cases would be set for trial at a subsequen time. Jackson's bond was fixed at 5300. but Barker will be held in the county jail. The information against Jackson al leges that he signed tho name of A. B. Jackson to a check for $14 35, January Jan-uary 6. of this year, to defraud the Ogden Furniture & Carpet company. The information against Barker states that he broke away from the Weber county jail, July 6. 1914. Young Marker has also been charged with stealing horses, to which he formerly pleaded not guilty. It will be re-Called re-Called that Barker was arrested a number of months ago for the alleged stealing of three horses, two at Eden and one at Roy. the horses having been disposed of in the vicinity of Montpelier.
