Show uu ENTERTAIN OLD FOLKS. American Fork, Jan. 20. The old folks' mid-winter social and banquet was held here today All the aged above (30 and all the widows were the guests of the committee. .. The guests were taken to the Tabernacle, where the festivities were held. A bounteous bounte-ous repast which had been prepared for them, was served to ?2 persons The band furnished delightful and ap propriate music during the banquet and during the forenoon After the ' meal, the old folks were the guests of C, G. Purrington, manager of the Orient theatre, at a specially arranged program of moving pictures, after which they returned to the Tabernacle, Taberna-cle, where a special program, interspersed inter-spersed with speeches and songs from visiting guests was enjoyed. After the program, refreshments were serv ed the guests, after which they wero taken to their homes. In the evening, eve-ning, at the Apollo hall, the committee commit-tee gave a ball to which the old folka were the Invited guests. rn |
