Show CLYDE PACKER IS ELIGIBLE TO PLAY By the Colorado School of Mines hanging Its vote, Clde Packer, star forward of the University of Utah basketball team, becomes eligible and will be in the Crinuon line-up the rest of the season The information that the Miners had switched since I the last Rocky mountain conference : mepting was received yesterday by Prof. Walter A. Kerr of the University Universi-ty of Utah. The barriug of Packer by the conference con-ference was a shock to the Utah offi-eials. offi-eials. and as but to votes were cast against him, Professor Kerr appealed the question. The Colorado Mines and Utah Agricultural college were (he two schools which voted to bar Packer and after the question was appealed ap-pealed the Miners reconsidered, leaving leav-ing tho Aggies alone in opposition, but one vote is insufficient and accordingly ac-cordingly Packer was declared eligible eligi-ble With Packer playing forward, the chances of the Crimson are brighter. The varsity is going after the Apollo Apol-lo ton.rn of American Fork, which slipped a hard beating to the Crimson a couple of weeks ago. The game will be played Friday night and Coach Norgren will take his full squad and expects to return with the scalp of the Independent quintet. On the same evening the freshman team will play Grantsville. Manager Will Maughan has been informed that the date of the Illinois .Athletic club game will be on February Febru-ary 15 The Itinerary of the A. A.
