Show "SIX-IN-ONE" FORMULA. The following "Six-in-one formula, ' borrowed from an exchange, will prove of use to many housewives. The ingredients are. Four cupfuls sifted flour, three heaping teaspoonfuls baking powder, two tablespoonfuls of shortening, one teaspoonful of salt and milk to make a soft dough This is used : For Biscuit Mix as directed, flatten flat-ten with the hand until about one inch thick Cut with biscuit cutter For Shortcake Divide dough into two equal portions Bake in two round tins Butter strenuously and place fresh fruit between and on top. For Pie Crust The formula is particularly par-ticularly good as a crust for meat pie. For Blueberry Roll Roll dough until un-til about one-half inch thick. Spread with blueberries, roll it up and place on steamer. Steam for three-quarters of an hour and serve with any desired pudding sauce For Jelly Biscuit Roll dough into a sheet, one-quarter of an inch thick. Cut with biscuit cutter, put a little butter and a small portion of grape jelly on half of the hiscuits, place In pan and cover with others and bake For Scotch Rolls Roll dough one-half one-half inch in thicknes?
