Show PRUCEEDINGS IN POLICE COURT The police court session tbi6 morning morn-ing was very brief, only four minor cases being called. Allen Edwards was given a five-day suspended sentence, sen-tence, lie pleaded guilty to a charge of drunkenness Saturday and had his case taken under advisement at that time. John Doe forfeited $5 ball. He was arrested yesterdav afternoon on Twenty-fifth street, between Grant and Hudson avenues, by Officers T. H Blackburn and R. D. Pincock. on the charge of disturbing the peace. Mike O'Brien and C, L. Kirk pleaded plead-ed guilty to charges of mendicancy and had their cases taken under advisement. ad-visement. O'Brien stated that he had a Job in sight and Kirk denied having used the bad language that the arresting officers attributed to him The statements of both men will be further Investigated before sentence Is passed. |
