Show SALT LAKE IN COAST LEAGUE Pacific Franchise Committee and Utah Baseball Men Close the Deal. Salt Lake. Dec. 22 Salt Uakc is in the Pacific Coasi league, While there are still some details to be arranged, the meeting held yesterday yes-terday afternoon ;it the Hotel Utah proved successful from every stand-i.mt, stand-i.mt, and the Pacific Coast league franchise committee. President Alan T. Baum and Henry Berry' new owner of the San Francisco team, will leave for the coast this morning Both Banm nnd Perry were enthusiastic enthusi-astic over the reception they received here and with the business like nian-n nian-n r with which the local men discussed dis-cussed the proposition. While there w ts no transfer of funds the $15,000 wns waiting for the Coast league men. but both Baum rnd Berry advised that the local men form their company com-pany and get on a working basis and I then this money can he turned over.
