Show BIG LAI DEAL AND AN ADDITION AT OGDEN A real estate transaction has been entered into between Luther S. Foss and T F. Sullivan, as the first party, and the Ogden Land company, with M S Browning as president and J. F Burton as secretary, as second party, par-ty, which promises to be of great importance im-portance in the upbuilding of Ogden City The deal embraces 1300 acres of land in the Buroh Creek and Riv-erdale Riv-erdale district, south of the city limits, lim-its, and involves $130,000 The transaction, so far, is in tho form of an agreement or option to buy, it being required that $5000 shall be paid on or before January 1. 1914. and the balance at stated intervals between January 1, 1915. and January Janu-ary 1, 1920. The lands under con slderntlon embrace most of section s all of section 17 and the northeast quarter of section 20, township ' north, range 1 west, Salt Lake meridian me-ridian The agrer-mept of the option is that the lands In question shall be platted plat-ted Into town lots and that Washington Washing-ton avenue shall be extended throup;ii the entire district 132 feet wide by 2 miles in length. The avenue sha;l be surfaced with concrete a width of fifteen feet and shall have cement wnlkB on both sides, curb and gutt f shall be established and sewer and water mains placed In the district The land lies beyond the city limits and extends to the Weber river. A part of the holdings also are on tho east side of Washington avenu ;ij it would run if extended through the district. All improvements are to be made in accordance with the plana of specifications of the city engineer, under the direction of the city board of commissioners. The plan as stated in the articles of agreement, which are on file in the county recorder's office, moans a great annex to Ogden City which shall be built up commensurate with the growth and needs of the city, aud tho parties taking the option say they have no other purpose in view The filing of articles of incorporn tion of the Federal Land & Mortgage company, In which are associated Mr Foss and Mr. Sullivan, his consider able significance lo connection with the option taken on the lands In question. Tho company is incorporated with a capital stock of $150 000, divided into in-to shares of the par value of $100 each, 1000 shares to be preferred and 500 common stock. The object of the company is stated to be the purchase pur-chase and sale of real estate and improvement im-provement of landed properties. The Incorporators nnd officers of th company are as follows: T. F. Sullivan, president; Luther S Fobs, vice president; Sadie B Foss, secretary and treasurer, who, with George W. Peterson and A. C.
