Show PASSENGER AGENTS TO BE GUESTS OF THE CLUB ; 1 On Saturday, October 10, O.edcn Is to have as its guests two hundred and fifty traveling passenger agents and their wives, for a limited length of time. Thp agonts are en route from the eastern states to San Fran-cibco. Fran-cibco. where the annual convention of their national organization is to be held. The party of visitors js expected to arrive in the city at 140 p m. and will remain here about an hour and a half. In order to assure the most pleasing entertainment possible for them, the Weber club is fostering foster-ing a plan to take them through Og-dfjn Og-dfjn canyon In automobiles and a letter let-ter with a reply postcard enclosed has been sent to a large number of local automobiles, to insure the sue-cr-fs of the plan. The letter is na follows : "To Automobile- Owners: During the summer, you will remember, we entertained Ticket Agents from all over the east, and we considered this ono of the most Important pieces of adVi rtising that has i rr been accomplished accom-plished by the club. Such an opportunity oppor-tunity does not present itself everyday every-day and would not in this in3tancj, had it not been for the friendly relations re-lations between the YVebr club and the passenger officials of the Union Pacific. "Ticket agents came along fifty ,r Beventy-flve per day for two weeRa and were taken care of by our public-spirited public-spirited automobile owners. "These same Union Pacific officials offi-cials bave, as their guests, two hundred hun-dred and fifty traveling passenp- r agents and their wives, en route to the annual convention of the American Amer-ican Association of the Traveling Passenger Agents which is to be held in San Francisco. They have decided to favor us with enough time to our beautiful Ogden canyon, and will be here about 1 40 Saturday afternoon, after-noon, October 10, remaining an hour and a half. Ye, therefore, desire to take them in automobile on this tri p "It Is going to take a lot of machines ma-chines and wa want to again ask your aid. Ye certainly will appreciate your assistance In properly entertaining entertain-ing these people, because It would be impossible to get a like number of visitors who would be of more service to us in an advertising way than these traveling passenger agents.
