Show SPRY PLEDGES . STATE TROOPS Washington, D. C, April 22 Governor Gov-ernor Spry called upon President Wilson Wil-son today and assured him the Utah militia was available for immediate servico if It should bo necessary to utilize state troops in connection with the troubles with Mexico. The president expressed his appreciation appre-ciation of the assurance given him by the governor and his hope that It. would not be necessary to call upon the state troops. It is expected that Governor Spry will appear before the senate public lands committee tomorrow to give his views and those of the recent convention con-vention of western governors upon public land measures now pending before be-fore congress.
