Show uu EXCURSION TO 60 TO IDAHO POINTS A letter has been received bv Secretary Sec-retary I. L. Reynolds of the Weber club, from Will G Farrell of the Salt i Lake Commercial club, notifying the t I local businessmen of an excursion o be run through northern Utah and southern Idaho, in June, and Inviting : mom to participate in it. ; The reason given for the excursion the extension of trade and the ce-i nicntlng of friendly relatious between tbe distributing center and the terri-ton' terri-ton' it serves, together with the making mak-ing of a first-hand opportunity to disseminate dis-seminate Information concerning the nblllty of tbe distributing point to take care of its territory. Similar excursions have been held in past years and have proven vcrv beneficial, the letter states, and ac fording to arrangements thc 1914 excursion ex-cursion train will leave Salt Lake and Ogden on June 7th and will return on June 13th. Governor William Sprv o( Utah and (Pernor Haines of Idaho have been invited to participate in tli trip and present Indications are that at least 100 Utah business men will also make it. The plans include the taking of Held's band and a male quartette to furnish extra entertainment and lu addition to time taken for meetings and parades, allowances have been made for visits to customers. |
