MORRIS A telegram was received yesterday by Ed Morris, telling of the death of his mother, Mrs. Harriet E. Morris. Mrs. Morris died in New York City where she was living with her son. Chester. She will be buried In New York PETERSON Word was received this morning by Peter D Peterson, a conductor on the Southern Pacific and residing at r28 Canyon road of the death of his father. Peter Peterson of Piano. Idaho. Death was due to old age and general debility. Mr. Peterson was an oldtlme resident of Ogden but for the past 18 years has resided at Piano. Remains will be shipped to the Lindquist chapel hero and funeral announcement will be made later. LINDSEY-At G a. m today Daniel Lindsey, aged 57 years, died at the family residence, 114 Twenty second street, from pneumonia. Deceased was born in England, April 17, 1S56, and has resided in Ogden 25 years' Besides his wife one daughter, Miss Hannah J. Lindsey. and the following brothers and sisters survive: Joseph an'd Anuis Lindsey and Mrs Emma Laugton. Mrs. Hannah Goodfellow, Mrs. Phoebe Langton of Salt Lake and Mrs. Ellen Marker of Idaho. Funeral services will be conducted by Bishop W. D. Van Dyke, Jr., In f the Larkin 4c Sons chapel. Sunday, at 2 p m. Deceased was a member of the Spanish-American War Veterans Vet-erans and the local corps will have charge of the funeral and conduct their ritual. Remains may be viewed at the Larkin chapel Saturday afternoon after-noon and evening, and Sunday until time of services. Interment in City cemetery. |
