The opening was 1-S to 3-8c higher, and a further upturn followed. I Corn showed strength as a result B of unsettled weather. The market, I which opened 1-8 to l-2c dearer, scor- I ed a decided further advance. I In the oaths crowd, bears were 8 checked by the strength of other 8 grain. Prices hardened from tho out- I set. I First sales of provisions wore five I to ten cents lower, with rallying 1 power feeble. I The wheat close was steady at 1-4 I to 3-8gil-2c net advance.
