P8ther there was a good attendance. Mrs. T G Spencer led the lesson from "Indian Life, ' after w hich Mrs. H. A Beauverd gave a short sketch of the history of India from 1828 to 185S. Mrs." J B McCracken told of the Indian woman in her home. A talk on the causes and effects of the famines in India was given in an In lere6ting manner by Mrs. E L. Howes A paper, written by Mrs 0.
