Show MANUFACTURERS ARE HOSTS TO LOCAL BUSINESSMEN The Utah Manufacturers' association associa-tion acted as host last night at a get-acquainted meeting and banquet at the Weber club. Vice President H. L. Herrington of the association was "charge de affaires" and conducted con-ducted the meeting in a highly successful suc-cessful manner. The event was the monthly gathering of the officers and members of the association and they decided to hold It in Ogden and invite the Ogden jobbers and retail merchants to join them. Quite a number of prominent local merchants accepted the Invitation and enjoyed the meeting and banquet ban-quet Among those present were Joseph Scowcroft, H. F. Ames and J. F. Campbell, representing the John Scowcroft & Sons' company, The Ogden Wholesale Grocery company com-pany and the J S. Campbell Grocery company, Ogden's large jobbing houses, and the following grocers and manufacturers: Grocers, James S. Carlson G A Nicholas. Fred Williams Joel Harris Har-ris J. W. Wilcox, J. S, Daniels and J. S. Carver; manufacturers I N Pierce of the Utah Canning company, com-pany, Simon Jensen of the Ogden Packing company, Manager Lucas of I the Superior Horseradish and Pickle company and Frank Stevens of the Sidney Stevens Implement company.
